This is vitally important news you guys
I just deleted sara-kalante.furspots.com and remade her at sara.furspots.com.

I had been debating whether or not it was too presumptuous to take the obvious name instead of going straight for the qualifier, but having Sara itself remain open and unclaimed for that long was just too tempting. Besides, if I checked back later and found it was taken by something lame like "Sara is one of the minor characters in a story I'm working on, she's the innkeeper's sister and has two lines in the fourth scene ^_^" then I never would have forgiven myself.

MY SARA NOW. That's just what I get for being cool enough to be in the alpha. :D

I don't blame you! Sara should not be given a bit part like that! She is deserving of so much better than that!

It's your fault for being so descriptive with her and her actions (and having her involved in several things I happen to enjoy as well :P)! Probably the biggest reason I enjoy our sessions together!

Besides, she's pretty!

The only reason I have "Kaye" in the MMO I play is because I signed up the day it went into open beta. :D A lot of the names I wanted for my pets, even the ones I think are witty and cool, are taken now :(

Good move to grab that name!

I'm sara_kalante on Tapestries because I was late to the game, and seriously, there's no way Sara would remain unclaimed on Tapestries of all things for that long. What's annoying is that Sara hasn't been on in like four years, but is somehow immune to character purges since I've excitedly looked forward to and been through like three of them so far and she's somehow still there. >:[

It's actually somewhat of a new and unusual sensation to have to fight for a name like that, because I'm so used to being Kjorteo, which is absolutely immune to anyone else ever wanting it. I could get the Kjorteo name at MySpace ten years from now if I actually wanted to and didn't hate MySpace, I'm sure.

I've done this a few times on MMOs, but for the name "Dinosaur". In fact, if the game allows last names it usually ends up being "Dinosaur Jones". I believe I hold that name in 4 MMOs, City of Villians, LOTRO, Age of Conan, and Warhammer Online. I only ever play one MMO at a time, though.
