New laptop [26 Mar 2008|10:19pm] [ mood | anxious ] [ music | Etrian Odyssey OST -- Meikyuu V Noko Miyako Shinjuku ] Meet Quicksilver. Yaaaaaaay :D Due to irritating financial constraints that mostly boil down to "This is a $2200 order and I only have a $700 credit limit :(" my parents picked it up for me and I will now have to start paying them back. Which I'm good for. It's not the first time this has happened (they bought Mercury, my desktop tower, and I successfully paid them back for that, and my being relatively good at this is why they were even willing to go through it again) so all is well, I think, except that money is suddenly :( even moreso than usual and will remain so for the foreseeable future. I also bought it one of these in advance, because not having one while using it in the weaving room while weaving with all that fuzz and all is extraordinarily cruel and unusual punishment for a brand new machine whose only crime is having an HD-DVD drive. 2 comments|post comment
